    HUNTSVILLE, Alabama -- Think you're well-educated? Try Kimberly A. Ford's resume.

She has a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Spelman College, a master's in business from Alabama A&M, and a law degree from the University of Tennessee.

"I want to do more," she said. "I'm always striving to do better and reach another goal.

"I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket. If something on the left dries up and I have something on the right, I want to have multiple streams of income."

Supervisor of human resources is a new position that replaces the role of assistant superintendent, which was eliminated when the former assistant superintendent, Ed Nichols, was promoted to superintendent.

Also, the school board has appointed Shannon Whitfield, a teacher at Chestnut Grove, to principal at Frances Nungester.
