Welcome to The Links, Incorporated, Greater Huntsville Chapter website.  The Links, Incorporated was founded in 1946 by the late Sara Scott and Margaret Hawkins, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The organization has more than 14,000 members in 283 chapters covering 41 states, Frankfurt, Germany, the Bahamas and South Africa. Our mission is to build a chain of friendship through purposeful and committed public service.  The members of the Greater Huntsville (AL) Chapter have focused our efforts on serving the community for over 24 years.Our website illustrates some of the projects and events we have sponsored, including our Annual Multicultural Extravaganza, Art Camp, sponsorship with the 100 Black Men Health & Wellness Fair, Be The Match Bone Marrow Registry Drive, Weekend Scholars Program and sponsorship of the Annual Successful Aging Conference.  We promote the arts and culture as sponsors of numerous artists at the State Black Archives at Alabama A&M University, and health and wellness through our obesity program.

Mission Statement

The Links, Incorporated's overall goals are to:
·         Redefine Links's purposes, sharpen its focus and expand its program dimensions in order to make Links, not only a chain of friendship, but also a chain of purposeful service.
·         Use the talent of each member to help fulfill the hopes and dreams of others.
·         Enrich and support those who are educationally disadvantaged and culturally deprived.
·        
Remain committed to making history and providing hope.
